The Pupil Premium is extra funding from the government that allows us to provide additional support and opportunities for children whose families may face financial challenges. This funding helps us offer things like one-to-one tutoring, exciting educational trips, and access to high-quality learning resources—giving every child the chance to shine.
What does Pupil Premium mean for your child? Here are some examples of how the premium is used.
- Free school meals (where eligible)
- Extra learning support such as one-to-one or small group tutoring
- Access to enrichment activities like clubs, music lessons, and school trips
- Additional classroom resources to boost learning
- Support for wellbeing and confidence through mentoring and pastoral care
