Wrap Around Care

At Laughton All Saints’, we understand the needs of working parents and are proud to deliver our own Wraparound Care Package, tailored to the requirements of our school community.

Our Wraparound Care is provided on our school site and all clubs are ran by experienced and established school staff members. This means they know your children incredibly well, as they work in school full time, and adapt activities to suit your child’s interests and needs.

Our various offerings start at 07.45 and finish at 17:45 and is open to all children from Nursery through to Year 6.

Breakfast Club

Our very popular Breakfast Club has been running for many years and supports many families on a daily basis. The sessions begin at 07:45 until 08:45, where the children are then escorted to their classes by the staff. Parent/carers can drop their children off at any time after 07:45.

A range of breakfast items are available for children to choose from, with options of:

  • A selection of cereals
  • Toast (with a number of delicious toppings)
  • Brioche / croissants / crumpets / pancakes
  • A selection of fruit
  • Juices / water

The sessions are run by Miss Phillips & Mrs Newman, who ensure that the children have a level of care, nurture and energy that is consistent with the school and its expectations and values. During this time, Miss Phillips & Mrs Newman provide a range of activities, including imaginative play, reading, arts/crafts, puzzles, construction and board games.

The cost of Breakfast Club, as of September 2025, is £3.50 per day, per child. Breakfast Club bookings are done through Arbor and should be paid for prior to arrival.

Extended After School Club

Extended After School Club is held between 15:20 and 17:45 during term time and was introduced in September 2022 to help working families and support with childcare challenges.

The sessions are run by Miss Newman, Mrs Peacock & Miss Phillips who both have absolute commitment to providing the very best of care for your children, entertaining and nurturing them throughout the sessions. They both give the children a level of care that is consistent with the school’s expectations and values. Our desire is for children to have fun but also rest if they need to, and for parents to be reassured that their children are well supervised and enjoying their after-school time.

Children eat family-style around a table with the other children to chat about their day and share stories. Meals can be a selection from:

  • Sandwiches, with a variety of fillings
  • Vegetable sticks
  • Toasties
  • Hot dogs
  • Pasta
  • Beans on toast

A variety of activities are planned for each day, with the interests and age of the children attending being taken into account. The children take part in a full range of activities, such as baking, arts and crafts, Lego, role play, sewing, construction, sports and games such as bingo or beetle drive.

The cost of Extended After School Club is £8.50 per session, per child. Bookings are made through Arbor and all children need to be pre-booked onto sessions by latest 13:20 on the day.

Late Collections

In the event that your child has not been collected after the end time from Extended After School Club (17:45), a late collection charge will be issued to cover the additional staffing and on-costs associated with this.

If you are late picking up after 17:50, you will incur a £5:00 charge for each 15mins you are overdue.
